So, I keep reading about other SSD owners who have Windows 8 installed on it that decide to move the User files off of the SSD and onto the HDD. I would like to be able to do that as well as move any other optional "space eaters". Anyone able to point me to a Windows 8 specific write-up or simply explain it right here?
Also, I have come to realize that some programs DO NOT give you the option to choose your destination folder. Is there a way to get programs I don't want on my SSD onto the HDD? I have no problem attempting to uninstall the programs and try to get them on the HDD that way but, if those programs don't give me a destination option...what should I do? Anything?
I feel that this will optimize my situation/needs and give me much needed practice for future installs(ya know, just in case I get close to capacity on the SSD). Currently, I am at 52GB used on 118GB worth of free space.
