Do solid state disks have temperature problem? I don't see any temperature on the test.

... just did a quick search ... ssd's use in the range of .1 watt to 1 watt approximately.

My ssd has been running for hours. It is almost cold to the touch.

The ssd is an intel 80gb

Actually, I was suspicious of 5 gigabytes per second speed . So I asked since it is impossible even with a ssd.

SSD (C Drive) and Hard Drive (D Drive) benchmark results from this evening... the SSD is hooked to SATA II on my motherboard as my board doesn't support SATA III

Which model is yours?


My model is probably the three platered one made in thailand. I am not sure but the hdd is quite heavy for two platters so I guess it's three platters. Also the upper right symbol is the smaller one which indicates three platters.
