I have an LG Flatron E2742 monitor. My tower, an Asus CM6830, came preinstalled with Windows 8. When I go to settings, it says that the brightness is unavailable. How can I fix this? Thank in advance.

Hello itteznerol, and welcome to Eight Forums.

Could you post back with a screenshot showing the full window for this to see if it may help reveal what the cause may be? :)

Same on my system. I think that this option is only available on systems with integrated displays, such as laptops and/or tablets, but not on systems with discrete monitors (tower systems).
