Solved Windows Backup

I just noticed, when I go to the Control Panel in Win8 Pro, it shows an item named Widows 7 File Recovery and no other back up item. That seems strange! Did I perhaps do something wrong when I installed Pro on my HP Envy h8-1414?

Thank you.

That's it, just Windows 7 Recovery, if you want to recovery everything on your HD. Of course, you could use a 3rd party app like Acronis. Not clear why it is labeled Windows 7, but it works well. You can't extract individual files from this type of backup, which isn't great.

I have used Windows 7 file recovery to create and restore images of my Windows 8 installation and it works like a charm.
