The Invisible Mouse

Good afternoon. After installing Win8 CP on an old Dell that doesn't have NX capability, I notice that my Logitech Wireless Mouse becomes invisible by the time it gets to the Start Screen. I can see it on the Lock Screen and when entering the Password, but after that, it becomes cloaked. Plugged a Wired mouse and it also goes invisible. They're both there, but invisible mice belong in the hole in the wall. What to do? A glitch like I've never, ever seen. Amazingly frustrating. Does anybody got a Mouse trap so that I can snag this mouse and make him visible? Where to even begin ...........

Hi, Positronics. Welcome to Eight Forums. :)
Maybe try and reinstall the Windows 8 Consumer Preview or refresh it. Can you continue to click on things? Just curious, or maybe is it just invisible. Go into control panel and change the cursor if you can, possibly the cursor has been set to something invisible.

Thanx for a speedy reply. I'm dual booted with Win7 and both the Wired/Wireless mice are happy, cheese-eating fools on this one. As soon as I enter my Password on CP, both mice hit the skids and activate their cloaking fields. It's beyond words - a CP glitch
that someone must've seen before. I had it visible when plugged into a 4-way USB hub. But, when plugged directly into the USB port on its own, it becomes a Chamelion. Damn! Remarkable what goes my way.
