I have an issue with my Compaq all-in-one PC. All worked fine until it updated about 2 weeks ago and now it won't work. (Note: it hadn't worked right after the upgrade.)
Should I boot into safe mode?

Hello Grant,

Many people have been reporting issues after doing an upgrade install. You might see if refreshing Windows 8 may help. :)

I'll be starting the project today, thanks Brink. This is a work PC, and I've stayed a bit under the radar at home.
Going to buy a flash drive at a local store. Hopefully my BIOS supports it...

Do a clean (re)install. That's what I did to fix mine and it worked!
