Not only that, the modified page writer can no longer clean up certain areas of memory if you completely disable the paging file. Best to leave it at a size large enough to capture a kernel dump if the box did crash - 1GB or so of paging file space should be sufficient to still allow capture of a crash dump without setting a dedicateddumpfile location via the registry, not mess with the memory manager's functionality, and should be unnoticeable to the system with that much memory.
