I started to set up a homegroup.
I got my homegroup password.

I saw a link or text that said "Homegroup Wizard"

I got a visitor and had to close down my PC and thought that I could return to the "Wizard" later.

Can I find it again? ....... NO
I searched my PC ....... nothing
I searched on the internet ..... nothing
I search MS pages ..... nothing
I looked in Control Panel > Homegroups ...... no wizard there. It would let me change my password etc but no mention of "Wizard" or anything similar.

I don't even have the "homegroup Icon" showing on my desktop.

I came here for a tutorial but cannot find what I need..... what did I miss?

Hello Harrier, :)

It sounds like you already finished creating a homegroup. The Homegroup wizard is for creating or joining a homegroup.

What were you wanting to do?

For now, look under "H" for Homegroup in the tutorial index to see if there may be a tutorial for what you are wanting to do.

http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/6795-windows-8-tutorial-index.html#post95013

I searched your tutorials... didn't see anything.

But I don't have an Icon
I didn't do any more than I explained.

I Just went to "This PC" and saw a homegroup there, click it and I just got a page with file areas like Documents. music etc

I was expecting more... Is that it Brink?

edit

OK Brink :) ........ I fired up my laptop and it sees the home group.... the same on my wife's PC.

Sorry to trouble you my friend.

Thank You

It's no trouble at all. I'm glad to hear it's sorted. :)
