I have established a working hotspot with my PC, and have also enabled internet sharing with my modem but my devices cannot still connect to the internet. Please a quick response would be appreciated.

You need to get a router. If you are directly connecting to the modem and it is not a "Gateway" with a 4 port switch and Wifi. Some providers restrict users from being able to bridge the connection.

Are you sharing through the lan cable connection and then to a wifi hotspot?

Well the thing is, it has worked before with no problems, i think it has something to do with my wifi driver cause when i was on windows 10 it was working.

to create a hotspot you need 2 wifi adapters? you only have 1 correct???

you have to setup the wifi adapter 1 to connect to internet, and then wifi #2 adapter shares it....

there may be an wifi card /USB card out there that does allow only 1 wifi to share and connect at the same time but I don't know what that card is or who makes it..

If your wifi card somehow allows that, I highly doubt it then tell me what model card wifi you have??

Perhaps sometimes companies make software to do this as well.. but I still don't see how 1 wifi card will connect and share internet at the same time.. I'm pretty sure you have to buy a specialized wifi card to do that..

which could be $10 on Amazon for another USB Wifi Adapter by the way...
