Solved WiFi Lumia 1520

The problem with my Lumia 1520 is that for some reason it won't connect to the private network in the hostel where I currently am. Previously every month in order to use the WiFi, you were given a new username and password, and then the Salvation Army menu would appear in IE, and fill out the details there and there was no problem.

Every time I try to connect in WiFi it would automatically take me to the menu in IE mentioned previously. Now it goes to secure password page and enter the password without the username and keeps saying renter password without even to try the password. I have connected to other free WiFi hot spots with no problem, it just appears to be the Salvation Army one, and yes I have asked other residents with Lumia phones and other manufacturers and have not come across this problem.

I also tried, using a random password but only 8 characters long and it looks as if it is trying to use it, nut then reverts back to the re-enter password. Unfortunately, I have also tried the Hard Reset with no joy, and used several usernames and passwords given to me all resulting in the same problem.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Talk to the folks that run the Hostel. Maybe they can help.

I have, they haven't changed any software or hardware and only appears to be my phone that is affected.
