Solved Windows 8 network adapter issues

First and foremost I would like to apologize if this threat title is not good format.

I have recently just installed a Windows 8 OS on my PC, as previously I had assistance with building it from my Uncle which had installed an illegal version of windows 8.1 on it, which did not make me comfortable in the least. I digress.
Since the purchase of the legal form of Windows 8 (64 bit to be a bit more exact) I have noticed an initial issue with the computer not being able to connect to the internet what so ever, and I have it connected directly via an Ethernet cord as this is a desktop with no Wifi capabilities as I am not wishing to purchase anything for it to be Wifi.

I did a quick few routine troubleshoots as I figured it may have just been a minor issue, but quickly I saw what might very well be the route of my problems as I have gotten the message in exact words "Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter. If you have a network adapter, you will need to re-install the driver."

From there I clicked next (Being that the Windows Network Diagnostics page was open) and from there I have the "Problems Found" telling me that "Windows could not find a driver for your network adapter."

A few of the websites I have checked asked for specific makes and models of computers, so if it is an actual necessity as this is not a simple dell, or toshiba computer, please ask if you need to know the specs of my computer. Any and all help is greatly appreciated, and I will have access to chat as I do have not only a laptop but another computer in which are operational so as to keep on top of this discussion in order to seek out a resolve for my problem.

So it's a PC you built. If so then what is the make and full model number of the system board or if you have a discreet LAN card what is it's make and model number.

Sounds like all you need is to download the right driver and you should be set.

I suppose I should have quoted you the information I just posted most recent.
