a little back story...I am a newly hired Helpdesk Tech and my Network admin is messing with me. He is disabling my NIC....Does anyone know of a way that I can block that? And a follow up, how would you recommend that I get him back :) This is all in good fun however. He is running windows 10 and I am on 8.1 ENT. Thanks

That is not funny. That is an someone that needs to stop playing kids games.

There is nothing that you can do if they are the only one that has access to the Domain Server or Managed switch.

I would take it up with management. If they do nothing. Start looking for another workplace.

this is not something that I want to get anyone into trouble over, and I find it interesting. All that I am looking for is to find out if there is a way to block his connection to my PC, without pulling my network cable, and then hopefully someone has a way that I can get him back.

There is nothing you can do, but find another job that does not have an immature individual pulling a power trip.

I would have walked the first day after punching the idiot in the throat.

No time for stupid crap as a LAN admin. I have dealt with a lot who had a power trip, because they were given the title of "LAN Coordinator". Put quite a few in their place. Experience always trumps immaturity.
