Hello, my laptop fell on the ground and the screen frame was broked a little bit and there was one wire that have cutted out but everything was working fine except the wifi so I wanted to ask could it be from the fell but sorry I can't write my computer specs cause The internet won't work on the laptop so I am sitting from my iPad.
Thanks.

Time to sell it on eBay for the parts and buy a new one.

These Guys are good here but they are not magicians.... hehehe

The cut wire might be the Wifi antenna :)
Most of them have the wire for the Camera & Microphone up the same side as the antenna wire in the hinge. The other hinge has the power wire to the Inverter. Yep, he is defiantly FUBAR on this one. Newegg.com has some good prices on some decent Refurb units. They have a Lenovo with an i5 pretty cheap, compared to getting a Celeron at the same price.

I think the point is it may cost more to get it fixed than simply replacing it. Plus you don't know what other damage may show up later and cause problems. Good luck no matter what you do.

What is it that you're expecting us to do -- repair your laptop from here? You provide no details, no photos of the laptop damage, no descriptions of the wire that was cut, or how it was cut, but yet, you want our help?

It needs physical repair -- either fix or replace the cut wire -- and for that, you will have to take or send it to a repair facility. There's nothing we can do to repair hardware on a community forum like this.

Drop a laptop, not good. Wires are small, tons of ribbon connections. You dropped it that bad, it will give you problems from now on. My honest input.

Even you fix that wire probably other problems will follow. Those fine, braided wires are almost impossible to repair.

Can search for a replacement cable.
