My ISP is heavily caching sites and shaping ports to save on international bandwidth (i am not in the US)
The problem is especially bad with the Windows Store and II mostly get "We weren't able to connect to the store. This might have happened because of a server problem or the network connection timed out. Please wait and few minutes and try again".
I am sometimes able to connect ot the windows store so the problem is on my ISP side. I tried using a tool called fiddler but it only applies to browsers requests as can't catch the details of the windows store traffic
I need to lodge a ticket with my ISP. Can someone provide me with the following
1. What is the FQDN that the Windows 8 store uses?
2. What protocol (HTTP) and what port does it use?
