Help Cannot connect to wifi

Wifi all a sudden stopped working on laptop. iPhones are fine.

Your question contains absolutely nothing useful and your System Specs gives nothing about the Notebook/Laptop.

We need much more info than that. Please try to give us a description of what you were doing at the time that you noticed it stopped working, what happened when it stopped working (did it stop all together, was it intermittent), and just as important what is the hardware specs of said machine. What does it have for wireless hardware in it? There is no such thing as too much information when trying ti diagnose these things. None of us have ever looked at a description/info on a particular problem and said "Hmmm, I really wish this post didnt have so much info!"

Ok. HP laptop running windows 8.1. Working on internet via wifi and just stopped working. Hooked up via Ethernet and internet works. Tried all the simple stuff. Reboot modem, router and computer. No luck. Leaning toward hardware issue. Wifi card bad. Will have to look at card when I get home.

Ok, I'll bite and tell you the first thing I thought of. Turn the WIFI on. All laptops have a way to turn the wifi on/off with keystrokes. i.e. Function Key + an F key. For example, my Samsung you can turn the wireless on/off by pressing Fn +F12 keys. That what I would check...

Did that several times. I get as far as put tying in pw. Then it says can't connect. That's why I'm thinking card. Tried at neighbors to connect also no luck.

Correction. Connected at neighbors but not home. So it is internal to windows or I need a new router.

No what you need to do first is to make sure the drivers for the Wifi card are correct. If the router was not working. No devices would be able to connect using Ethernet or WiFi.
