I use an Ethernet cable and as such I followed this guide (How To Turn Your Windows 8.1 Device Into A WiFi Access Point) to obtain WiFi for the rest of my other devices (Smartphone, iPad, Nintendo 3DS etc.)

It used to work but for whatever reason my other devices can no longer detect my WiFi HotSpot T_T Or if they do and I enter the right password, I'll just get 'Unable to join' for whatever reason... help anyone? I also noticed the 'Sent' part of my Private Network is stuck at that particular value or increases really slowly...

First make sure your cable is good, they are fairly easy to break.

I had no idea what you are using to post here. Have you deleted everything and started over? Use another name when creating it.
