Wifi keeps going limited, fixed by turning wifi off and on

Sometimes when I'm using the internet, most frequently when I'm using a lot of resources, ie torrenting large files, my wifi will stop working, and eventually go limited. This is always fixed by turning my wifi off and on. I've updated all my network card drivers and have disabled the power management option that allows my computer to turn off the adapter, what other solutions are there to this problem? Adapter is a ralink rt3290 and I think it might be a problem with this adapter specifically, if anybody could help me here that would be awesome

That is usually caused by a router, or failing networking adapter.

It happens pretty infrequently and I just replaced my router recently

Towards the bottom there are two driver versions to try.

I though it was ISP issue
Was about to call them and tell... few things *cough*... since I'm having this on two routers so far but same ISP. It's quite frequent lately...
Is there a way or some settings in router that can prevent this? Like bandwidth limit or frimware upgrade/update?
It's not network adapter, my brother and me break at the same time, it's followed by yelling

I also noticed it happens more often when there's more than one person on the internet
So... It's unlikely that 2 adapters fail at the same time.
