I'll try to explain this as best I can.
Network is a mix of XP, Vista, W7 and W8 desktops and laptops.
All connect to router which has a Buffalo Link Station NAS attached and all machines save direct to that.
All worked fine until BT decided the router was faulty and installed a new BT Business Hub 3.
Wired connections now work but wi fi (laptops) have a problem.
On W8 laptop.
NAS can be connected to and accessed fine when clicking established desktop shortcut which opens Windows Explorer.
NAS is not visible when accessed via Windows Explorer.
NAS can be seen in Router and can be pinged from CMD prompt.
NAS is not visible when you try to save from Word or any other application.
NAS cannot be found if you try to Map a Network Drive.
Running out of ideas on this one so any thoughts would be very welcome.
Once sorted this out can move on to W7 laptops exhibiting same issue.
Thanks
