Random telephones appear in "Network" folder

Is it normal that random telephones appear in "Network" folder from time to time, of the models I never had?

Is it normal that random telephones appear in "Network" folder from time to time, of the models I never had?
Not following you. Need a Screen Shot of the Network Connections folder, also need a screen shot of Device Manager showing all devices under the Network tab. Make sure you check Hidden Devices in Device Manager.

"fix for phone showing in windows 8.1 before you check your network it is phone it showing in Network go to control panel then Administrative tool then services then look for windows connect now right click on it go to Properties then startup select disabled and click on apply then stop service and ok and see your network you will not see a phone"

Then just right click on them and delete them. Same for if they show up in Device Manager under Hidden Devices.

It is people with their smartphone wifi turned on getting close enough to your router/computer. Hopefully you have it secured.
