I am trying to remote desktop to my Windows 8 PC from a Windows 7 PC, but it's not working.
When I start the RDP client and click Connect, I am prompted for my credentials. The connection is then established, and I see the Windows 8 login screen with my username selected, and the little spinning dots are going. Then it either freezes or just drops the connection completely.
I have tried flipping on and off various options in the RDP client on the Windows 7 PC with no success. I followed one post's suggestion of turn off the "Printers" option on the Local Resources tab--no luck. I have enabled the "allow remote connections" option on the Windows 8 PC with the more permissive setting.
Can anyone suggest a fix for this problem?
Thanks.
