contently reseting proxy server when i have cable hookup

Each time I open an internet explorer 11 I get
[h=1]There is a problem with this website’s security certificate.[/h]Through other googling on this issue . Their direction said tools/ internet options/ connections/ lan settings use a proxy server/ is X 'd so here /use automatic configuration script /http://localhost/proxy.pac

This procedure gets me by all I have to dob is refresh and the page comes up.

But each time I open a new internet page this happens and the above procedure is taxing.

Does your cable company require a Proxy setting? Mine doesn't and neither do the phoneline DSL or Wireless DSL firms in my area, all advise to set the LAN settings to the first item about Automatically detect...... However, I've had to clean up infections that change the LAN setting to use a Proxy, sometimes hard to get cleaned out.

Could just be an issue with IE. Try another browser like Firefox or google chrome, to see if they do the same thing.
