Really appreciate your computer knowledge. Here’s the problem.

I created a HOMEGROUP on computers A with PRINTER hooked up.. No problem with A, B, C printing.

Now I hooked up PRINTER to computers B. Computers A, B, C do not print (unless I hook up to A).

IMHO if all computers are on the same home network, they should be able to share the same functions.
What should I do to hook up the printer to B and A, B, C will print?

I thank you.

If the printer is capable of using Ethernet or Wifi, you do not need it connected to a computer to print, since the printer contains an internal print server. Majority of the times, it is either the Windows Firewall is turned on, or a third party Internet Security software, that is causing this issue. Turn off the firewall, things go back to normal.

As for homegroup, do not use it. Disable it and use standard Networking. It also helps to know the manufacturer & model of the router, OS versions and printer manufacturer & model number.
