Both of my laptops use Windows 8. I have been sharing files between the two of them for a couple of nights just fine, and ran another program that seemed to have stopped the sharing process.
I have my "Users" folder marked as "share" on both laptops, and this error message pops up now on both computers: Windows cannot access \\PERSONALPC\Users. You do not have permission to access \\PERSONALPC\Users. Contact your network administrator to request access.
A link will bring me to information about permissions from Windows, but nothing comes up that pertains to my problem.
Anyone know how I can go back to being able to share?
