I just swapped the hard drives on a laptop (Lenovo T440s) and in the process reinstalled Windows 8.1/the factory image. During the install I selected to NOT automatically connect to OneDrive (I don't want all the stuff turned on, such as backing up images). My plan was to go back in and turn on what I want. So after the install was completed I ran all the windows update so now I'm up to date. But I'm having a weird problem. Whenever I go to update the OneDrive settings it says "you need to verify your identity" and then has what I think is supposed to be a link underneath (says "Verify" in purple). But trying to click on that does nothing.
Also, in the Action Center is says to "Click here to enter your most recent password (Important)". And when I click on the Sign In button it takes me to the accounts screen for my live.com account with the options to disconnect or more account connections online. If I select disconnect it tries getting me to create a local account (which I haven't done).
I've tried restarting the computer. And the other odd thing is I can actually access my OneDrive account with no problem.
Any ideas?
