Constant Limited Access

Okay, I just got my computer back from Acer in which it had all of its cover parts replaced, cleaned, and updated. I've had it only for a few weeks and I play all of my games on this computer as well as do job applications and basically everything under the sun. Ive been to many different sites and tried a bunch of different things but the issue keeps popping up. About even 10 minutes (sometimes 5minutes sometimes an hour or so) my computer goes on limited access. There are other computers in the house on at the same time that do not get this issue what so ever (all laptops) so I now it's nothign with the actual internet. I've gone into device manager and I've set it so it doesn't turn itself off, I've reset all of the IP settings and made sure they were right (I think) but with no improvement. This issue doesn't happen all the time but when it does it's usually 15 or more times within an hours time.

The usual things.

Update driver to newest, update router firmware to newest, update bios to newest, uninstall any 3rd party security and use Vistumbler to find the most open wireless radio channel then set router to use it. Set beacon interval in the router to 50 ms.

If you have any Hamachi software, get rid of it. Update any VPN to newest. If you have Networx software, uninstall. If you have any VM software, update to newest.

Use McAfee removal tool. I doubt you did all of those things, especially set beacon interval to 50 ms.

Most likely reason is local interference then. Nothing you can do about it besides wiring your home to use cable instead, or try to move both router/laptop away from home wireless phone base and microwave.

You can also try purchasing a router that works in the 5 GHz band instead of 2.4 GHz.

If you are currently using an N router, and one or more machines are using G standard, that most likely is slowing all machines down to G standard (depends on router) and could be negatively affecting everything.
