Hi, it's not exactly an problem but I want to know if there was anything like this on previous windows versions or is it something new on win 8.
I have 3 desktops at home, 2xwin7 + a new one with 8.1. I found on the one with 8.1 that a pc which was off was under Network Locations, I found that if I click it, it powers on said pc, like a "wake on LAN". however I haven't found any reference on the web to this kind of functionality on win 7 or 8.
