I´d like to get some information about how to, in Windows (8.1):
Change the Local Security Policy
- Open Local Security Policy:
XP: From the Start menu choose Run. In the resulting dialog, type "secpol.msc" (without quotes) and click OK.
Vista: From the Start menu, in the Start Search dialog, type "secpol.msc" (without quotes) and press Enter.
Windows 7: From the Start menu, in the "Search programs and files" dialog, type "secpol.msc" (without quotes) and press Enter. - Click the plus sign (XP) or arrow (Vista and Windows 7) next to Local Policies to expand its contents.
- Click to select (you just need to highlight this folder) the folder called Security Options.
- On the right hand side of the Local Security Policy, locate and double-click on Network security: LAN Manager authentication level.
- In the drop-down list, select "Send LM & NTLM - use NTMLv2 session security if negotiated".
- Click OK.
- On the right hand side of the Local Security Policy, locate and double-click on: "Network security: Minimum session security for NTML SSP based (including secure RPC) clients".
- Uncheck "Require 128-bit encryption".
- Click OK.
- Close Local Security Policy.
- Restart the computer.
It´s necessary to connect to my Server.
Thanks in advance!
