Issues with SkyDrive. Suspect indexing is at fault.

So I'm having an issue with my SkyDrive not uploading files I put in the SkyDrive folder on my computer to SkyDrive online. It was working fine for weeks with 8.1, but all of the sudden it quit working one day (no system changes were made). It will usually sync after a day or so on it's own, but not immediately like it used to. One thing I have determined is that if I tell Windows to rebuild the index it uploads everything as it should. I'm suspecting that the indexing isn't updating often enough, but can't figure out why. Any thoughts?
