Hello,
So I have a brand new computer (home build) running Windows 8.1 and a brand spanking new USB wireless adapter (Trendnet N300 dual band). I installed the adapter from its disc on Friday and used it fine all night. Wake up Saturday and I'm getting 'limited connection' when connected to my home router.
After a lot of playing, updating the drivers for the adapter, updating Windows, playing i n command prompt...it now won't connect to the router at all.
I'm currently connecting via a bridged ethernet connection to my Macbook.
Extensive googling just isn't turning up a solution, and if anything seems to have made it worse seeing as the adapter can't even connect to the router now! This also seems to be a common problem with Windows 8.1?
Thanks for any help, I am really at my wit's end!
