Sony Vaio SVF15A13SAB Dropping Network INtermittently

Dear All,


I purchased a brand new Sony Vaio SVF15A13SAB, its dropping packets intermittently for 5 10 seconds every 4 - 5 minutes. Dont know why. I did a full system restore but the problem persists.


Can any one please help.


It running on Windows 8 Single language, has i5 Processor and 4 GB RAM.
Wireless Adapter is BCM43142 Wireless Network Adaptor

If it's dropping connections both wired and wireless then you should perform a clean boot to see if the problem persists.

The directions in the link shows how to clean boot then disable start up programs that could be causing the problem. It's really just a process of elimination.

So much bloatware installed on new machines and these so called free programs cause endless problems, especially the trial versions of anti virus software which should be removed using the special tool.
