Solved SkyDrive Question

I want to use SkyDrive like another HD. But, it seems that everything on SkyDrive is downloaded to all pcs connected to my SkyDrive. This defeats how I want to use SkyDrive. I have a desktop PC with huge video and photo folders. They are much to big to have on my ultrabook. I wanted to copy these folders to SkyDrive and then access them from my ultrabook. But this sync feature seems to defeat that use of SkyDrive.

I would appreciate any insight into how to use SkyDrive the way I want.

Hello Jim,

On any PC that you don't want them downloaded (available) on, you could set that SkyDrive folder (ex: Videos) at "C:\Users\(user-name)\SkyDrive" to Make available online-only.

With the new smart files features, you will still be able to see the videos without them being saved on the PC.
