Hello march3th, and welcome to Eight Forums.

While in your This PC window, you should be able to right click on them, and click on Remove device to do so. :)

In that case, you can turn off the Let devices on this network (like TV's and game consoles) stream my music and videos option in OPTION THREE the tutorial below to not have your PC show up on the others.
Next, at step 3 in OPTION ONE of the same tutorial above, click on the Allow all devices on this network such as TV's and game consoles to play my shared content link instead.

  • Select All networks in the "Show devices on" box.
  • Click on the Block All box.
  • Select any one that you want to remove, click on it's Remove link, click on Remove the device to approve. Repeat until you have removed all that you wanted.
  • When finished, click on OK.

While in your This PC window, right click on any left (one at a time), and click on Remove device again. When finished, close and reopen This PC to see if they are still there.

This will only remove them from your This PC window. If these media devices/networks are still connected to your network, then they will always be listed in your Networks folder since they have been detected. :)
