Hey guys,
Apologies for the rushed thread here, it's kinda late for me and I'm at Uni early tomorrow so I may not have time to make this post tomorrow. Basically here's what's going on. I've installed Windows 8.1 Pro today and got it all nicely running to something I like. However, one thing I overlooked and didn't thoroughly check was the media sharing permissions between my PC and my 360. Everything works as far as sharing goes, my 360 can view it, can play, so what's the problem?
It filters it to a Video folder then to the next folder. So for example, I have my TV shows and Movies really organised on my system ie.
And this format is echoed to each TV show, and this format worked perfect when I had Windows 7. My 360 picked up on the format and repeated the same thing back. But it doesn't while using Windows 8.1, instead when I view my videos on the Xbox it does this.
Is there anyway I can get my Xbox (or sort out Win 8.1) so I can see my file format back on the 360? Even using Xbox Video (on PC and Xbox) does the exact same thing, and it seriously does my head in. I haven't found anything anywhere about this issue. The only issues I've found is how to make the connection work, and how to stream media and such.
Any and all help is highly appreciated!
