Hi guys,

Just a quick question about connecting to a remote network drive...

  1. If I connect to a remote network drive does the organisation have access to my files stored on my local drive?

Hope somebody can give me an answer, thanks

All the best,
Joe

They won't have access to anything on your machine if you turn off Network Discovery and File and Printer Sharing in the Advanced Sharing settings at the Network and Sharing Center. You would need to check the settings for All Networks and Guest or Public and Private Networks as well.

Your connection to a remote drive does not effect what others can or cannot access on your computer. They are unrelated.
