Solved HomeGroup problem

Hello I am new to this forum and I have been having a problem when I cannot create or Join a home group.
I have IPV6 enabled and the other machine is running windows 7 is this a problem?
If not could any sloutions below be basic because I am such a newbie when it come to windows thanks :thumb:


And If its needed I own an acer Aspire NC-V5-122P-42154G50NSS

Why did you disable LLDP? I suspect that may be required for HomeGroup to function.

Why did you disable LLDP? I suspect that may be required for HomeGroup to function.

For some reason the LLDP stays disabled on wireless connections, and stays on for wired connections by default, not sure why but it doesn't appear to have an effect on Homegroups for me.

Sorry for not mentioning this earlier but I have zone alarm free firewall and ipv6 is apparently disabled but as it says in the screenshot it is.
So I am really confused

So I am really confused

You will want to disable or uninstall the zone alarm firewall as it will most likely cause problems in setting up the new Homegroup.

You can't set up a Homegroup without IPv6 but it's showing as enabled according to the screen shot, what makes you think it's disabled?

Wifi driver update fixed the problem :)
