Not able to connect to an adhoc without limited connectivity?

I'm running 8DP, and EVERYTHING works fine, except the fact that i'm missing two drivers and i can't manage to connect to anything wirelessly...

    Any help?

I've tried everything i can possibly think of, i've set my own IP, i've tried DHCP, updated drivers, downloaded third party networking software. The error that keeps popping up says that my network cable is unplugged, and it can't determine the location of my wireless card. It's kindof inconvinient

The adhoc setup most likely need to be re-established as when you turn off the machines the connection will not self reconnect.

Are you trying to share internet connection using adhoc setup?

No, it's not just the adhoc, its generally my wireless, i have limited conectivity to EVERYTHING i try to connect to, (Less than 100 packets per minute) and i can't see anyone on a network at all, and no one can see me.

Have you checked the security and encryption types of the wifi network matches the connection on your machine?

Connect it up and then provide details of ipconfig /all. Also the two drivers that are missing, i'm assuming they are not related to your network devices right?

I already got all the drivers updated, they were for my chipset.

All of the encryptions match, i'm using WEP, and so is everything else.

It's giving me an error that says "There is a network cable unplugged or the location your connecting to can't be found"

And then other times it says "Cannot find wireless card" But it has the specific driver for my card (Don't have the name of my card on me at the moment)

    It's strange :\

If you don't mind, change the security of the wifi network to WPA and then try accessing it from your machine.

If I were you I would turn encryption off (just to test) to see if it is a encryption or hardware. Please also run IPCONFIG /ALL and upload the output to us here.
