I decided to update my HP laptop (model mentioned in title) to Windows 8. That worked great. Then, I thought it would be fun to update it to the 8.1 Preview. All is well except that the WiFi will lose connectivity after about an hour or so. I have to completely disable the Wi-Fi adapter and re-enable it before it will work again. I had hoped that the problem would be fixed in the 8.1 RTM. But, it wasn't.
I did a lot of research and found that it is most likely a driver issue. I installed the Windows 8.1 generic driver, the official Windows 8 driver from HP, and some generic drivers that I had from driverpacks.net. But, I still have the problem.
Any other ideas?
