WIFI problem - kindly help

Hi, I have Latitude D630 having "Dell Wireless 1490 Dual Band WLAN Mini-Card"
problem is whenever i try to connect through wifi, the system freezes, it happens only when i connect through wifi, the wifi adapter works on window 7.
another problem is that i have G945 intel graphic card. windows update installed the latest version of the driver but it wasn't working, specially games weren't working, now i installed old version of the driver (which was for windows 7) and everything is just fine.

but unable to find wifi driver.

If you can find a Windows 7 driver for the Dell 1490 mini card then try installing it in compatibility mode for Windows 7.

I don't really see any Windows 8 specific drivers for this.

I cant find anywhere.... i searched many times on google and found some, but when tried to install them, some error appears (i don't remember clearly) like installation package is corrupt. can you provide me link please.

That system was made for XP, try getting a different updated version of pci NIC card and installing it.

The drivers from Dell aren't up to date for this as expected.
