Solved my IPV6 has no internet access on my windows8

:eek: I try to update steam but it said `you need to connected to the internet to update steam.` WHAT I AM CONNECTED!:cry: help please windows 8 pros today!:sarc:

Common problem but has nothing to do with IPv6.

When I search this problem here is what I get...

If Steam is not undergoing maintenance, and you are unable to connect in steam, open the steam folder (defaults to C:/program files/steam) and delete ClientRegistry.blob. Don't worry, when you open steam, it will be regenerated, and you might be able to connect again if that is your problem.

Common problem according to the Steam forum but with different possible solutions, deleting the ClientRegistry.blob seems to be the main fix.

No IPV6 Internet access is not the problem, assuming IPV4 has Internet Access. In order to get IPV6 access your router, modem, ISP etc have to support it. If they don't you'll just fall back to IPV4 and life goes on. ;)
