Sometimes happens that I cant ping gateway (same address as router(dhcp server)) but I get address from it. Then only restart helps. Shutdown doesn't help.
I tried ipconfig /release -> ipconfig /renew
after that I get IP from 10.0.0.1 but I cannot ping it back.

Can you please follow this tutorial so that we can see what IP address your default gateway is as it can help us in helping you - http://www.eightforums.com/network-sharing/26581-network-posting-tips.html

Your router will be the default gateway if not then your machine will not have internet connection and only limited access (Local Only).

Also what is the make/model of your router? Some router models support a feature which blocks ICMP requests (Ping) therefore it could be possible that you are experiencing this. When trying to ping what is the error message?

Destination Unreachable - This could mean your router is blocking ICMP requests or your personal firewall is.

Request Timed Out - The specified IP address does not exist/no response was returned. This can be an issue with your default gateway if trying to ping an IP address on the internet or such IP address does not exist on your network

Do you receive this error when pinging other devices on the network (by IP address)? This could be due to an intermittent signal. If so you may have to change your wireless channel.

As far as I am aware your router does not have any settings that would block ICMP request from its internal switch.

I try change channel to AUTO instead of 9 and switch to windows 8 drivers instead of original Broadcom drivers for Windows 7. I had old drivers because of Eduroam errors on W8
