Wifi randomly disconnects me from network :(

Hello Everyone,

I got a small problem I wanted to share..
Sometimes when I am working on my laptop doing whatever it just disconnects me out of the blue.
It shows this stupid icon and says that there are no connections possible:


At first, I did not know what to do so I just began doing some random things on the network center. Then I figured out how to solve it:

First open network center


Then, Open adapter settings


Disable your Wifi network card


Next, Enable it again


And then your internet connection is back again



Now this works fine on short term, it takes like less then one minute, but its starting to drive me crazy now so does any one knows why it does this and how I can solve it once and for all?

Right off the bat I'm thinking it is related to your marginal signal strength as shown in the last image. My advice is to test it when you get 4 or 5 solid bars and see if it happens. I guess that means you will have to move closer to the router; yes? Hope this helps.

That may be it, usually once you connect to a WiFi with 8, it will stay connected, until out of range. If you have any walls in between you and the Router, it may block you.

Also, take into account any Advanced Power Settings that shut off your Wifi adapter in the laptop during sleep modes.

I browsed to advanced power settings and found a setting called "wireless adapter power saving". It was on maximum power saving mode for battery mode and on maximum performance on charging mode. So I put them both on maximum performance. Now lets see if the problem disappeard..
