forgetting wifi network not working in windows 8.1

I want to forget a Wi-Fi network from my network list i windows 8.1 . But when I right click on that network (to forget that network) nothing happens i.e. right click menu does not open. Do you have any suggestion?

Hmm... I just tested the right-click function on my Win 8.1 laptop and I got the same reaction as you (no menu). I also made sure that the target network did have a profile. So, this is either something new in 8.1 or were both doing something wrong. With that said, the only option remaining (that I can see) is to follow Shadowjk's recommendation and use option 2 to see if that works. Try it and let us know.

I've seen similar complaints on the internet about this same problem with 8.1, use this command to delete a particular profile> (netsh wlan delete profile name="SSID")

Or to remove all stored profiles type this command: netsh wlan delete profile name=* i=*.

Or just follow the tutorial in the link. ;)

I had this same exact dilemma as well. Seeing as how google led me to this thread, let me share this nifty (but not so visually appealing) tool I have made. This deletes whatever wifi profile you wish to delete.
