network printer issue

I am trying to use the network printer that is on my mom's windows 7 computer which is connected to but the network keeps giving me this error code 0x80070035
The network path was not found. The network is also Wireless so I can use it one my laptop which i'm on windows 8 the error shows up when I click on the network icon and it shows my name of my laptop and the name of her computer I have tried talking to Microsoft people they keep telling me that it's the network not the printer they keep giving me forums that don't help I'm running Kaspersky Pure 3.0 I have tried to add the problem to the firewall since my other windows firewall is disabled I'm lost please help.

In order to use the host machines printer via the network...you have to install the driver on the PC that wants to use it. On the PC that want to use the printer via network....go to devices and printers and click add printer....let it search and find the printer, click on the found printer and click to install.

I'm not giving any screen shots I'm all messed up it use to work with my old laptop that was on windows 7
