Hi. Recently I've experienced weird connection issues without any obvious reason. I haven't installed anything in particular as of late, when I woke up one morning I suddenly just had 1 bar with my wireless connection. 1 day before that I reformated my PC though.

I have 2 signal amplifiers in my PC and this worked great the day before. I have a laptop right next to the PC which has full signal strength.

Thanks in advance, I really need to get this solved.

Edit: I can add that sometimes I get full strength for a few seconds.

Hi Detta,
Try different wireless channels and see whether the signal improves.

Hi, thanks for the swift response. I tried setting it to a channel other than the selected 'auto', but it had no effect. Everyone but me has full signal strength.

I created a network bridge and so I'm using the internet through my laptop now, I guess that's a temporary fix for me. Still hoping for a permanent solution though, thanks!

Have you tried uninstalling the driver and re-installing?

May I also ask what your signal strength is like in Safe mode?

Please boot your machine in Safe Mode with Networking and check to see if your signal improves? If so then we would be looking at an application issue. If not then this could be a hardware fault which cannot be repaired or a faulty re-installation in which you would have to conduct another reinstall

To boot into safe mode follow this tutorial but replace any references of Safe mode with Safe Mode with Networking. - http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/2757-safe-mode-start-windows-8-a.html - Please follow option three

Many Thanks,
Josh! :)
