Couldnt connect to network

Hey guys,

So I've been reading some posts, tried many solutions and none of them have worked for me.
I recently installed a fresh version of Windows 8.
Everything went smooth until I tried connecting to a wireless network.
It finds the wireless network, after typing in the password (btw its a WPA2-Personal),
I instantly get Can't connect to this network.
I tried it on another wifi network and it gives me the same problem.
Another thing I noticed is that when I right click on the Wifi network I get no options.
And when I do it on a wired network I only get the turn on/off sharing option.
By the way when connected directly to the router connection is perfect.

Please help.

Why not connect to the router using the cable then go to either the manufacture's web site or the Windows update Center to obtain the latest wireless drivers for your system. I say this because it sounds like the drivers for the wireless NIC are not installed.

Tried that, all drivers are installed. Checked device manager and everything is perfect.

Can you post a screen shot of the ipconfig/all from this machine?

Do you have any type of third party anti virus software installed?

From what I can see here the Realtek RTL8723AE wireless device isn't using Windows approved drivers.

If it was an approved driver then I would be seeing the Msoft direct virtual adaptor which is included with all Windows WHQL drivers.

You don't have your system specs listed but usually the manufacture off your PC would have this drivers or look at the Windows update center.
