    Can't access Mail or Store

    Hi there,

I'm a new user to Windows 8 and am having some problems. First, everytime I try to open the store it tells me I'm not connected to the internet, but I am. I've tried running the troubleshooter, but it does nothing. Additionally, I tried logging into Mail, but all I see is a three-tone white screen that has zero information on it. And yes I had an Outlook account before Windows 8. Last, I receive warnings about certificates with many websites I visit, including a few run by Microsoft. If I'm not mistaken, all of this is caused by McAfee controlling my firewall, and I seem unable to disable it and regain control of my new computer. If you guys could help with any of these problems, it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Windows 8 & Windows 7 Dual Boot

If you cannot disable Mcafee temporarily to test, and if you cannot uninstall it because it was preinstalled and dont have the key.

Then goto your device manager and uninstall the appropriate network driver, whether its your ethernet or wireless, whichever you are using to connect to the internet.

Then on top click action, then select scan for hardware changes, allow windows to reinstall the unmodified drivers.

now try to access your programs..

That's what I ended up doing two days ago, but forgot to take down the thread.

    Thanks for your help though!
