Anyone familiar with mybook live NAS?

I just bought a 3tb WD mybook live NAS. This is connected via ethernet. I cannot delete or download to tis device. I want to be able to access this device via remote or ready share, as I have used readyshare in the past with WD drives. I am just lost and the WD forum is useless. I cannot drag things to it, I cannot delte things from it. And when I try to modify permissions, I get a failed to enumerate directory or something. I want to be able to share the NAS snd its contents to people outside my network, and I do not know how to do that either.

You have described my problem exactly. I had no problems with My Book Live on Win Vista and Win 7. Windows 8 is totally different. I can't copy to the MBL. I can't delete from it. And nothing that I've found in searching describes the problem I am having...until now. I'm glad that I still have my Win 7 laptop as MBL is working well on there.

Does anybody have an answer?
