How do I 'undo' the "ipconfig /release" command in the CMD.
I can't use my internet on my computer after doing that.
I've tried "ipconfig /renew" but I get this message.
"No operation can be performed on Local Area Connection* 11 while it has its media disconnected.
No operation can be performed on Local Area Connection while it has its media disconnected."
What should I do?

use ipconfig /renew for that, although it looks like you did that already. Maybe it's time to reset everything else network related, the file below will reset everything network related and reboot your machine automatically.

If you are still having problems after running the reset file please post a screen shot of the ipconfig/all from this machine.

Other commands in the link. :)

Your screen cap isnt complete or you dont have a network adapter installed.. All I see are the tunnel adapter. Can you expand the dialog box then screen cap..?

Are you wired or wireless?

Are there other computers on your network, are they working?

Are there any exclaimations in your device manager under NETWORK ?

If its wired, disconnect the cable then reconnect it and see if it finds your router..

Well the ipconfig isn't showing a thing here, no adaptors or anything so this system is missing some files or something. The fact that you couldn't even run the ipreset file means there are bigger problems here than just obtaining an IP. Have you looked in Device Manager to see if the adaptors are showing up with drivers installed, no yellow exclamations etc.?

Have you tried running the sfc/scannow command?

Hm, sorry guys for not replying. I've had some family stuff going on lately.
Weird enough, my Internet now magically works after updating my Wireless adapter drivers. :D
So, yeah! Thanks for the help guys!
