I have 15/2 from my provider. They offer two higher plans, but I don't want to spend more.

I pay 165 a month for cable, phone, 2 hd boxes, one DVR, hbo.

My 50/10 Comcast Internet Service was recently upgraded to 50/10 with no explanation (I was previously getting 25/10). Maybe that was included with the new contract I recently negotiated? Anyway, I renegotiate every year and so far it has worked OK for me. Now, I'm not sure why it works (instead of defaulting to retail) but maybe it has something to do with FIOS availability in my area. So, if I can keep renegotiating (instead of paying full price), I will continue to do so. Right now, I pay $192.00 total (tax included) for 50/10 internet service, unlimited local/long distance, 3 HD boxes (1 is a DVR), HBO, SHO, and STARS. My friends have less options than me and are paying upwards to $250 per month.

    Hi caperjack,

I totally agree with you on that issue. I wish I could "tailor" my channel selection... and if I could, I would only be paying for (about) 10 channels. There other 200-300 channels are just a waste (at least for me)!

exactly, not even sure it would add up to 10 ,the rest is garbage in my opinion , like how many different people do we need to see mine for gold , or rednecks kill a alligator, women run around in there PJ's cussing at the repo guy ,with dog the bounty hunter holling at them over the fence .or big a fat cook sell a monster size hamburger from a street truck ,lol !!
