Hello,
At the moment i'm dual booting with win 7 and 8. I have no problem using Media Center on the XBox and the PC when i'm in win 7. Windows firewall is on and XBox can see my hard-disk which is connected to my wireless Asus router. However i cannot do the same when i'm on win 8. I tried with the Windows firewall off and i still can't connect. The settings on my wireless router must be OK since i connect when i'm on win 7. I keep entering the 8 digits code and Media Center can't find my XBox. I even did the setup again on win 7 side and had no problem. I tried also the same 8 digits code that was given at the time and tried it on win 8 and still no luck. My XBox see the network and can connect to the Internet and Windows Live. However it doesn't see my PC. Again no problems when i'm in win 7. Are there settings that are different in win 8 for Media Center? I've spent an entire afternoon trying to fix this, so some help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
